This beautifully, tactile piece, with a statement scooping rim, adds flow and movement to the form. Created in a Crank Clay, through a combination of press moulding and coiling. The Crank clay givens a slightly sandy, textured feel to the piece exposing the nature of the clay.

Once the form had been created lines were carved into the clay and inlayed with smooth white, stoneware clay. Offering a lovely contrast in texture and tone.

The lines reflect the paths we take, the changes and unexpected moments that can happen along the way.
